Crosscut Music was founded by Chris Zagar. Zagar is an active musician in the triangle-area and has been playing guitar and writing songs for over 30-years. He studied composition under Margarett McAllister (Berklee College of Music) and jazz harmony and improvisation under Thomas Oboe Lee (Boston College). His songwriting and musical interests transcend genres. Zagar has been a part-time, on and off-again, educator for 20-years. His primary area of interest is sparking creativity and inspiring students, just like his teachers did for him.
